Our Adventure Exploring the Incredible Peveril Castle Above Castleton

Join us for another Peak District adventure as we explore the incredible Peveril Castle, standing high above the beautiful village of Castleton. 🏰⛰️ Our adventure begins with a scenic drive through the spectacular Winnats Pass, before we arrive in Castleton and start our walk up towards the castle. And yes... getting up there involved a few stops, plenty of laughs, and some absolutely amazing views along the way! 😄 Once inside, we explore the impressive ruins of Peveril Castle, wander around the remains, take in the incredible scenery surrounding Castleton and, of course, find some time to play with Molly. 🐶💚 But our adventure doesn't finish at the castle. After making our way back down, we explore a little more of the surrounding area before heading to our next stop — Eldon Pond. From there, we continue to Eldon Hill Quarry, where we discover its dramatic landscape and two huge openings in the hillside. From an ancient castle high above Castleton to beautiful Peak District views, a hidden pond and an enormous quarry — this turned into another fantastic day of exploring!
