WWOR-TV Commercial Breaks (Aug 3, 1987)

Commercial breaks from WWOR's (channel 9) The Million Dollar Movie showing of "Rebel Without a Cause". This was four month into WOR's ownership by MCA. They added the extra W to keep the name-recognition, while still complying with FCC rules that didn't allow a radio and television station under different owners to share the same call letters. (Same thing that happened with WNEW/WNYW when it became Fox.) You'll see the typical Crazy Eddie spots (with Jerry dressed as Santa for "Christmas in August"), yet another Craftmatic spot and an ad for the premiere of Cannon's Masters of the Universe film. This is probably the closest I've gotten to the actual anniversary date with my upload.
