After 20 Years, American Ski Resorts Finally Got The Message From Canada

American ski resorts are finally starting to get the message from Canadians. For the first time in at least 20 years, not a single American ski resort attended the Ottawa Ski, Snowboard and Travel Show as an exhibitor. And I'm not gonna lie, seeing that headline put a pretty big smile on my face. The best part? The show was completely sold out, with Canadian businesses filling the space. So while American ski resorts were nowhere to be found, our own Canadian ski destinations were getting more attention. Funny how that works, eh? In today's video, we're looking at what this means for the Canadian boycott of US travel and the ongoing US Tourism Decline. With Canadians avoiding US travel and choosing ski destinations in Canada and Europe instead, American resorts are facing a very different relationship with their Canadian customers. But there's another part of this story that I want to talk about, and that's Jay Peak Resort in Vermont. Its general manager, Steve Wright, previously wrote a public message to Canadians, and one of our viewers decided to respond. Well, the reply he received was something else, and I think it perfectly demonstrates why so many Americans still don't understand how much the Canada US relationship has changed. We're not simply upset about one ski resort or one politician. We're talking about Canada US relations, the tariffs, the annexation threats, the insults, and the trust that's been damaged. And expecting Canadians to overlook all of that just because a particular American business doesn't agree with its government? Yeah, good luck with that. Let me know what you think.
