Escape to the Highlands: Our Family Camping Adventure at Tigh-na-mara!🚐💨

Join us on a 360-mile journey from our hometown to one of Scotland’s most breath-taking hidden gems. We’re back at one of our favourite spots on the northwest coast, camping right on a beautiful sandy beach with stunning views across to the Isle of Skye. This trip was full of "firsts" and family fun, including: Fly Fishing for Beginners: Watch as I attempt to master the fly rod in the fields (with varying degrees of success!). Boating & Canoeing: Exploring the crystal-clear waters, islands, and testing out new gear. Wildlife Encounters: Meeting the local "man-eating" cows that gave us a bit of a scare on our hike to Arisaig! The Crab Trap Challenge: We improvised a crab pot with some sardines and waited for the moment of truth. Did we catch dinner or just a few new friends to release back into the bay? From peaceful morning coffees and sunny hikes to "extreme" boat maneuvers , it was a Highland holiday to remember.
