Bouldering at Norway’s Sport Climbing Mecca | Flatanger

Great rock, bizarre features & perfect roof crack! July van trip takes us back to the beautiful Norwegian coast with a thirst to discover what Flatanger Bouldering has to offer! This time we visit Hasvåg & Knatten crags. The Flatanger area is large so this is only a scratch of the surface as there is so much more interesting stuff to climb here. Big recommendation to visit the area if you are planning a summer bouldering trip to Norwegian coast, especially Hasvåg. Although the crags are geographically close, the drives take some time as the area consists of coastal islands and gulfs. You can also check out the famous Flatanger Cave (Hanshelleren) if you are into sport climbing shenanigans... One of the standout boulders: Baboonmaster Edge, 8A on Hasvåg went high to my dream project list for the future.
