Born in Bihar in 1943, he became a disciple of Karpatri-ji Maharaj and later studied extensively in various places across India. He is known for his efforts in protecting sanatana dharma and promoting values such as cow protection, women empowerment, and environment protection. He has also established two organizations, Aditya Vahini(for Men) and Ananda Vahini(for Women ), to promote self-reliance and protect the nation's unity and ancient culture. Swami Sri Nischalananda Saraswati-ji Maharaj is a prolific writer, having authored over 100 books on Sanatana Dharma & Vedic Science and over 20 books on Vedic Mathematics. He is also known for his nationwide #Rashtra_Utkarsh_Abhiyan_Yatra, promoting the concept of a Hindu Rashtra and Akhand Bharat, and his slogan "Har Hindu Sena ho, Har Hindu Sanatani ho" for every Indian youth.
