We Weren’t Even Supposed to Go Toy Hunting!

Grecofabulous is back in Texas for a wild NARC weekend packed with toy hunting, rare NES games, Little Samson, Turtle Chris, Retro Madness, Dallas Vintage Toys, and Attic Invaders chaos! Greco flew into Texas for what was supposed to be a weekend of hanging out… but you already know how that goes when two-thirds of the Attic Invaders get together. We kick things off by heading over to Turtle Chris’s house to check out the massive changes happening with his toy rooms, video game collection, vintage TMNT collection, Masters of the Universe displays, Nintendo collection and more. And yes — Chris breaks out one of the heavy hitters from his NES collection: Little Samson for the Nintendo Entertainment System. He’s getting incredibly close to completing his licensed NES set, with only 18 licensed games remaining, and Little Samson is currently one of the rarest games in his collection. We also get a look at Chris’s completely revamped collection space featuring vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, MOTU Origins, Masterverse, McFarlane DC Super Powers, 2000X He-Man, Nintendo collectibles, Amiibo, vintage video games, arcade memorabilia and a whole lot more. The collection room is still a work in progress, but it’s already getting ridiculous. From there, the weekend turns into exactly what you’d expect. We make a stop at Retro Madness, meet up with Boston Mike, check out a huge vintage G1 Transformers collection, and somehow our supposedly “non-toy” weekend immediately turns back into toy hunting. Then it’s off to the Dallas Vintage Toys sidewalk sale, where there are deals on Marvel Legends, Star Wars Black Series, vintage Star Wars, G.I. Joe, action figures, games and more. Because apparently the Attic Invaders are physically incapable of being around each other without ending up surrounded by toys. But things take a serious turn toward the end of the weekend. With less than two hours remaining in our Attic Invaders: The Adventure Continues Indiegogo campaign, we were incredibly close to reaching the goal when a $1,000 pledge was suddenly canceled. With the clock running out, we had to figure out whether there was any way to still cross the finish line. Rare Nintendo games. Vintage toys. Little Samson. Grecofabulous. Turtle Chris. Boston Mike.
