How EA KILLED The Skate Series

It was with not an unreasonable amount of Glee that back in 2022 I saw the announcement that the EA skate franchise was coming back. At time of writing, the game isn't out yet, but my opinion on the matter has soured significantly over the past couple years ever since I learned that it was going to be a free to play game. But for those of you who aren't aware of the EA skate franchise, and to those of you wanting to take a trip down memory lane, allow me to reacquaint you with the EA skate franchise and what made it so awesome, and what ultimately killed it.
