LONESOME FRIDAYS 2026 #1 - I Ain’t Goin’ To Work Tomorrow

Welcome back to Lonesome Fridays! It’s a 10-song solo set counting down to the end of the year inspired by my weekly residency at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC (2006-2020) as well as the lockdown-era livestreams that followed. It’s a chance for me to share a bunch of new and old songs and stretch out in the solo format, which is not actually that Lonesome. This begins volume 5; check out the first four years in my channel playlists where you can string ‘em all together — there are no repeats! This one is I Ain’t Goin’ to Work Tomorrow aka Ain’t Gonna Work Tomorrow, from the music of the Carter Family, which is always a good place to start. Enjoy!
