The Lion Tans Tonight

Most people tan at noon. This mountain lion has a session at 3:00am. Strolls in, finds the brightest spot in the house — and soaks up the rays. The "tanning lamp" is my trail cam's infrared light. We can't see it, but on camera it turns the grass into the best-lit lounge chair in the forest. Captured on infrared trail cameras across several nights. Edited by Anthony J.
