Started 5th February finished 8th May in 93 days, total distance 1434km Thank you for putting up with my rambling, I wanted to do this outside and as soon as possible after the trip but weather has been awful and I only had one day where I could film in a relatively private space outside. Apologies for any background noise or talking from the neighbors over the fence. Decided to go into seriously exhaustive detail because as far as I know this is the only VB gear video in English and wanted any non-Swedes to get any info they needed. There are a couple items I forgot to bring along for the video or mention: -Seiko-5 Wrist watch: Added a DIY leather backing so I don’t have the metal/glass back of the watch against my skin, more comfortable and warm. Usually forgot to take off at night -Woolpower 200 long johns: Too warm, if I’d had a -40C day then they’d have been good, sent home in first box -Tea strainer: kept for a long time, sometimes there would be a lot of stuff in the snow I’d be melting (Reindeer/dog hair/Pine needles) And I’d pour the water through that to get the hairs out. Left it in kvikkjokk as I hadn’t used it for 2 weeks. -Wettex rag: Great early on for wiping condensation off the inside of the tent and wringing out, better than a bandana. Lost it around Hemavan.
