Yosemite National Park in the fall is pure magic — and our October 21st visit proved exactly why 🍂
In this video, we explore Yosemite National Park during peak fall colors, with perfect temperatures, lighter crowds, and unforgettable wildlife encounters. Fall is one of the best times to visit Yosemite, and we’ll show you why.
During our trip we visited some of Yosemite’s most iconic locations, including:
• El Capitan towering above Yosemite Valley
• Bridalveil Fall flowing beautifully in autumn
• Yosemite Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in North America
• The Lower Yosemite Falls Loop, where we were lucky enough to see a black bear and several deer 🐻🦌
• Mirror Lake Trail, a dog-friendly Yosemite hike, where we were able to bring our pup Paloma along for the adventure 🐕
Compared to peak summer season, Yosemite in October offered fewer crowds, peaceful trails, and an overall more relaxed experience — while still delivering incredible scenery and wildlife sightings.
If you’re planning a Yosemite fall trip, looking for dog-friendly trails, or wondering when is the best time to visit Yosemite, this video will give you a real-world look at what October in Yosemite is like.
