Anne Evans, who was singing the part of Brünnhilde, was unfortunately unable to continue after the end of Act 2. She was replaced at very short notice by Penelope Chalmers who was due to sing the part of Gerhilde in Act 3. Gerhilde was instead sung by Patricia Cameron.
