I visited the 140th Canton Fair in Guangzhou over 4 days, in Phase 1 and Phase 2. This first episode shows the fair the way a first-time visitor sees it: the entrance, the hall map, the guide book, badge colors, and the booths. What I learned: You can't see it all in one day. Check the product categories first and visit with a clear purpose. Keep booth talks short and get a feel for the company. I don't negotiate at the booth. The real check happens at the factory.
