Of the "Adland Five" - Alan Parker, Ridley Scott, Adrian Lyne, Hugh Hudson and Tony Scott is arguably the boldest, most experimental and dare I say artistic of them all, despite him professing that he cornered the market in "girls' jeans and rock n' roll".
