Rudra Veena & Tenor Saxophone Jugalbandi - Raga Bhinna Shadja, Kolkata 9th March 2014

Carsten Wicke (Rudra Veena), Jonathan Kay (Tenor Saxophone), Selim Daniel (Pakhavaj) Playing together with Jonathan and Selim was a wonderful experience that proved to me how much more openness and loving respect between musicians count in a jugalbandi (duet) than the apparently consistency of their instruments. Enjoy this unique concert recording in spite of its technical shortcomings owned to the spontaneous live situation. The first few minutes where not recorded on video, so the moving images start a bit later. Thanks to Hafize, who did not get tired recording almost the whole concert with a hand held camera, thumbs up ;-) We had lot of fun in this session -- hope you will have too!
