Welcome inside Pine View Acres for the first part of our full house tour. In this episode, I’m taking you through our entry, dining room, living room, kitchen and working pantry—and sharing the stories and design decisions behind each space. As an interior designer, I approached our home a little differently. I wanted it to feel collected rather than decorated all at once, blending the character of an old European country home with the comfort and function of the way we live today. Throughout the tour, I’ll share why we made certain architectural choices, how I worked through some of the more challenging spaces, and the mix of antiques, family heirlooms, vintage finds and newer pieces that have slowly made this house feel like home. In Part One, we’ll tour: • The entry and our custom front door • The dining room and antique pantry • The living room and asymmetrical fireplace • Our European-inspired kitchen • The working pantry/scullery and my treasured collection wall If you’re new here, Pine View Acres is our home in the countryside—a house that took many years, several different plans and quite a journey to finally build. If you enjoy interiors, collected homes, antiques, gardening, cooking and a slower way of living, I’d love to have you join me here. Thank you so much for watching and for all of the wonderful encouragement you’ve given me as I begin sharing more of our home and life at Pine View Acres. Part Two of the house tour is coming soon. — Sonya #HouseTour #EuropeanInspiredHome #InteriorDesign #CountryHome #PineViewAcres
