Pandit Bholanath Prasanna ji, the revered Guru of Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia ji, nurtured his disciple in Allahabad (now Prayagraj), shaping not just a flautist, but a legacy. It was Pandit Bholanath Prasanna ji who revealed to the world a truth no one had imagined—that the Atimandra Saptak could breathe through the flute. Had he not shown the way, we may never have known that the flute could descend into such profound depths of sound.
