Edited reaction to Lost (2004) - S1:E1 - Pilot: Part 1 | Canadian Reaction | TV Commentary. We are starting a brand new show today...shoutout to Bestie BazT47 for suggesting it! We are finally starting LOST. I dove right into the two-parter and it did not disappoint. I was so into it, the end of the episode took me by surprise! I have so many questions and I cannot wait for them to be answered (hopefully) throughout this show. I hope you guys continue on this journey with me! Let me know your thoughts of my first reaction in the comments! 🏝️ LOST is an American serial drama television series that originally broadcast on the ABC network from September 22, 2004, until May 23, 2010. Created by J.J. Abrams, Damon Lindelof, and Jeffrey Lieber, the critically acclaimed phenomenon combines elements of science fiction, supernatural mystery, and intense character drama. The series begins when Oceanic Airlines Flight 815, a commercial airliner flying from Sydney to Los Angeles, disintegrates in mid-air and crashes onto a mysterious, uncharted tropical island somewhere in the South Pacific. The show follows the diverse group of survivors, led by spinal surgeon Jack Shephard (Matthew Fox), as they are forced to work together to stay alive. They quickly discover that the island holds dangerous secrets, including a monstrous unseen entity, unexpected wildlife, and a hostile group of prior inhabitants known as "The Others." Utilizing a unique storytelling structure of serialized island events paired with character-focused flashbacks, the series explores the deeply flawed pasts, interconnected destinies, and moral struggles of the castaways as they search for a way home. 🎥 This is not a substitute for the original material.
