Flying to Malaysia While a Super Typhoon Hits the Philippines

Our original departure flight was November 10, 2025, but Cebu Pacific rescheduled us to November 9, 2025, the exact day Typhoon Uwan made landfall. We got to the airport just as the rain started to fall. By the time we boarded, the winds were already picking up, and we could see it getting stronger even from outside the airplane. We felt mild turbulence on the way up, but the real shaking came when we reached Malaysian skies. It was rainy in Kuala Lumpur too when we landed.
