My Day With Mr. Rogers

My name is Robb Beltran. I was lucky enough to spend the day in Mr Rogers' Neighborhood when I was a news reporter at WKBN in Youngstown, Ohio. I interviewed Mr. Rogers in May of 2000 in the WQED studios in Pittsburgh, PA. This is the new file story without CG's. Gary Coursen was the Chief Photographer at WKBN at the time and shot this story with me. Besides interviewing Mr. Fred Rogers, I also interviewed David Newell who played Mr. McFeely and Chuck Aber, known as Neighbor Aber. It was by far one of the best stories I covered in my eight years as a broadcast news journalist. It most certainly is my favorite.
