2026.09.20 north swell sheboygan, great lakes surfing

water temp around 60°F. got out in the morning at blue harbor but the wind was so strong that the footage was pure shake and unusable. ran over to the north side jetties in the afternoon and saw it cleaned up a bit and looked fun for my new board. wanted to work on turns & trying to remember to keep my front foot planted - never realized how much i lift it up and press with my heel till i had 2 people tell me its better to keep it down. camera has really been going downhill & struggling to keep any sorta charge even with an external battery. no longer wants to zoom either. might be close to the end for my soloshot. anyway, was a really fun session. felt i made some progress and enjoyed myself out there. hoping the water stays warm for a bit longer!
