Walking in Morning Rain through Nakasendo Village | Gifu, Japan

A late summer walk in early morning rain through the traditional village of Magome-Juku in Gifu, Japan. The village is one of many post-towns on the Nakasendo an old walking highway between Kyoto and Tokyo. We start on a hill overlooking the village, and walk down to the rice fields below the village and back up again.
