Walked Right Past Castle Rock—Then Went Back to Find It

I came to Big Bear to hike Castle Rock—and walked right past it! Come along as we explore the trail, enjoy the lake and cabins, then head back to find what we missed. It’s my first time hiking this area, and with so many side paths, I followed the rock cairns along the way. Finding Castle Rock took a little extra exploring, but we finally got a closer look and enjoyed some beautiful views. By the time we headed down, the trail was busy—it felt a little like Disneyland!
