雪山東峰 3,201m 親子一日單攻| Day Hike with Two Kids (7&9) on Taiwan's Snow Mountain

爬完富士山幾週後，我們全家挑戰了雪山東峰（3,201公尺），台灣百岳之一。這是孩子和媽媽第一次走這條路線。好友 Yusuke 也一起同行。 前一晚住在武陵農場，早上6:15從登山口出發。孩子們覺得這趟比富士山還難，高階梯對小短腿真的很吃力，天氣又非常炎熱。一路上休息了很多次，總共花了11小時。孩子們始終沒有放棄，真的以他們為榮。 不久前的我還很討厭走路，從沒想過會去爬山。現在，爬山成了我和家人相處的時光。 A few weeks after climbing Mount Fuji together, we took on Xueshan East Peak (雪山東峰, 3,201m), one of Taiwan's 百岳 (Top 100 Peaks). It was my second time on this trail, but the first for my wife, my daughter (7) and my son (9). Our friend Yusuke came along too. We stayed the night before at Wuling Farm and started from the trailhead at 6:15am. The kids found it harder than Fuji. The high steps are tough on little legs, and the heat was relentless. We took a lot of breaks and finished in 11 hours. The kids never gave up, and I couldn't be prouder of them. Not long ago I hated walking and would never have gone on a bush walk.
