FINAL FANTASY VII Steam Pc No Encounter Speedrun By Xenoxis Part 5 Disc 1 Almost Done

Hey all this is Xenoxis and today is 1st of September 2026. Today we almost finish Disc 1. We finish up rest of Cosmo Canyon, we do not use X-Potion on Gi Nattak , nor Phoenix Downs, Elixir, Megalixir. We do use Beta though as its pretty good. We one shot Lost Number making sure to hit him with physical at the right time so he enters strong physical form then we blast him with beta. We do Materia Keeper twice first time we only had 1 enemy skill, so second time i made sure to equip 2 so we can get Trine on both. Boss is real easy, we loot everything on MT Nibel aswell. Once we reach rocket town our money finally gets used we saved up to be able to get 3x Barrier 3x Time and 1x Exit. The last Barrier however we wait with until we defeat Palmer and sell the Edincoat. Once that is done we head to Wutai to pickup Magic Shuriken to sell and also Hairpin wich we use on Red XIII. Infact we end up using all the joke weapons. We go do the date after this and keep in mind this time we did not use cover at all so this time we should kinda be guaranteed to get Barret. But no, bo Barret although we hardly used Aeris, we called her a slum drunk, we did all the positive stuff for Barret. So i dont know is the date just bugged in general since im pretty certain i did not miss anything? I always choose Tifa before Aeris in all circumstances and when available i always choose Barret first. In Gold Saucer i made sure to go with Red XIII. I did all the talking with Wedge, Jessie and Biggs in Midgar, we got of the train at the corect moment. Only thing is that in shinra building we got caught by the guards in order to recieve xp im guessing it gives him negative points several times instead of just once so four times the whatever negative amount it is. But yeah thats the only thing ive done wich would be negative points. Anyway we do Temple of Ancients sadly Demon Wall crits Aeris several times troughout the fight even though she is sadness, back row and under barrier, she still takes huge damage. Sadly i forgot to heal her up late in the fight so she is dead towards the end. Also since she was the one with healing spells we end up having to waste our X-Potions and 1 Elixir. After temple of Ancients we go get buggy bring it to hold man figure out we need 5 fights done we go fight Midgar Zolom and run away 5 times. Now he does not wake meaning the Mithril loop is setup. We go hand in Mithril we choose big chest for 1x Gold Armlet, we go back to old Man another Mithril we choose big chest for 1x Gold Armlet. We repeat until Barret, Red XIII, Caith Sith and Vincent has 1 each. Cloud is using Dragon Armlet and Tifa is using Gigas Armlet so they dont need one, after everyone has one we need to farm and keep repeating it until we have 99x Gold Armlet. When we end the recording we only have 1 Gold Armlet left to get before we start going for the 99x stack wich is gonna take a long time and will probably be what the next part is all about.
