The House on the Rock | September 27, 2026 Service | Matthew 7:14-29- The Path to Life

Welcome to our service livestream for Sunday September 27, 2026. In Matthew 7:24-29, Jesus concludes the Sermon on the Mount by talking about a wise builder who built his house on the rock. He says that people who hear and do what he says are wise. This phrase drew on the people's thoughts about the temple. Instead of the religious institution and its physical temple being the sure foundation, the people of Jesus trusting him, and living the way he led was the sure foundation. The early church drew on this teaching to explore Jesus as the cornerstone of the house on the rock, the people of Jesus, or the Church. http://shilohnc.com To give online, visit http://shilohnc.com/give E-mail: office (at) shilohnc.com Social media:   / shilohneighborhood   instagram: @shilohneighborhood (  / shilohneighborhood  )
