EALC Evidence Review Dissemination webinar

The Eastern Africa Agency Social and Gender Norms Learning Collaborative (EALC), in collaboration with the University of California, San Diego's Centre for Gender Equity and Health, has concluded a regional evidence review of social and gender norms interventions aimed at preventing violence against school-aged girls and improving their educational experiences and outcomes across Eastern Africa. The review provides practical, evidence-informed insights and highlights key recommendations to strengthen future research, policy, and programming on social and gender norms in the region. The EALC conducted a virtual Evidence Review Results Dissemination Webinar on Tuesday, 28 July 2026, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM. The webinar brought together researchers, policymakers, social and gender norms practitioners, development partners, and other stakeholders committed to advancing gender equality and safe, inclusive education.
