NS 8114 Heritage! CN M369 - 2921W at Snider - October 10, 2025

A rare daylight CN M369 arrives in Toronto yard with a cool story behind it. it was reported in Brockville with Norfolk Southern Heritage unit 8114 trailing second, and based on the timing I was prepared for it to run on 397 Friday afternoon However after sitting and working Belleville for quite a while, it picked up CN 4138 on the way. And then it was lined into oshawa yard, pretty much eliminating any hopes of it going on 397. To my luck however, they tied down the train in Oshawa, with a crew arriving after 6 AM to work the yard and pick up Dash 9 2670, allowing for the train to run in Golden hour on the York sub. Once I found out it was past Pickering, I drove to Snider VIA the 407, just making it in time for a nice catch, with a few nice rail cars in the mix as well.
