March 31, 1975 Midnight Show

After the rough rounded nature of Elvis's last few tours in 1974, Elvis took a long needed break from the limelight. However in late January of 1975, Elvis was hospitalized forcing him to miss his January start date for the first and last time since 1970. It was rescheduled to March, with Elvis getting an entire new set of Suits for the new engagement. Two piece suits, that look beautiful on him. Here, Elvis was brought back to basics. While keeping the formula the same from 1974, he brought in a few new songs from his upcoming album TODAY. Fairytale, Green Green Grass of Home to name them. Burning Love made it's return, being done at nearly every show. Elvis was in good spirits and loved messing around with the Vegas audience. This is just one of the those shows from the engagement.
