Takadimi Basics on a Wind Instrument

In this video I will review the basics of Takadimi. In my previous videos I used a drum pad to demonstrate the rhythms and sound of those rhythms. In this video I will be demonstrating those rhythms on a wind instrument using my trumpet. Takadmini is a different way of counting music rhythms. If you have struggled using other systems of counting rhythms I would highly encourage you to check out this system. It has helped my students and many other immensely and hopefully if will help you! -------Video Index------ 0:00 - Introduction 1:45 - The Lesson Begins 10:42 - Wrapping it Up ------------My Setup------------ Heil PR-40 Dynamic Microphone Apple Mac Mini 2018 Focusrite Clarett 4pre\ CalDigit TS3 Plus Docking Station/Hub Canon M200 Elgato Cam Link 4K Elgato Stream Deck XL Apple Magic Trackpad 2 Apple Magic Keyboard Rode NTG5 Shotgun Mic Rode Wireless Go 2 ------------How to reach me------------ My Website: https://adamontech.com Twitter & Instagram: @adamontech ------------Who am I?------------ My name is Adam W. Metzler. I have been an instrumental music teacher and technology director at a small school in Northern Maine for the past 16 years but have been teaching for 20+ years. I also coach the golf and volleyball team, DJ our school dances, and teach a media production class. I am a geek to my core and love anything and everything related to music and technology. I enjoy sharing my passions with others and often times music and technology can be a little overwhelming or straight up confusing so hopefully my channel will help demystify or introduce you to new technologies and a new way of thinking about music!
