Kendra grows suspicious of Hammond’s knowledge of The Marker, but the conversation ends when the hull is struck and the Atrium is ripped open. Inside the Captain’s Nest, Hammond tasks Isaac with manually re‑routing power to the ADS through three junction boxes. Before Isaac leaves, Hammond warns him about a massive Necromorph loose on the Bridge. Moments later, Hammond ejects an escape pod containing the creature he trapped earlier. Isaac heads toward Bridge Security, where a Brute smashes through the doors and attacks. After defeating it, Isaac activates the Atrium elevator and witnesses a disturbing log showing Dr. Kyne accidentally killing Captain Matthius while trying to sedate him. Kendra warns Isaac that gravity plating is malfunctioning, forcing him to avoid dangerous distortion zones. Isaac restores power across multiple levels of the Atrium, fighting Slashers, Leapers, Pregnants, and another Brute. He learns more about the Necromorphs’ biology and the spread of The Corruption, while strange hallucinations whisper “make us whole again.” With the junction boxes activated, Hammond reveals the ADS auto‑targeting system is offline. Isaac must manually fire the cannon from the ship’s exterior. Dodging incoming asteroids, he keeps the hull intact until Hammond repairs the data cable and restores automatic fire. As Isaac returns inside, Kendra reports that Hydroponics is losing oxygen—something is poisoning the air. She sends Isaac back to Medical to create a counter‑agent, while Hammond heads to Hydroponics to slow the Necromorphs down. Isaac fights through Dividers and Slashers on his way to the tram. Just before boarding, he receives a brief, haunting transmission from Nicole.
