2026 8 16, Out and About on the Recumbents, Search for Sweet Elisabeth Organic Bakery and LOW SUGAR

With Jo being a Type 2 diabetic, we have been searching for a bakery that has pastries that are Sugar Free. Alas, no such thing exists here but we did find, Sweet Elisabeth's Organic Bakery on Uintah Street, that does make them with either Low Sugar (coconut sugar) or uses the natural sugar in fruit to sweeten some of their pastries! We split and Banana Muffin and a un-iced Cinnamon Roll that uses "coconut sugar" and organic bread dough! After checking her blood sugar levels, we found it didn't SPIKE heavy like a normal bakery pastry does so we will be back!
