Walking Downtown Montreal & Looking for Dogs 🐕 | Art Installations by Felipe Arriagada-Núñez

Walking through downtown Montreal and the Quartier des Spectacles, I’m looking for the dog sculptures and installations from “Hello Dog, From Here and Elsewhere” (Bonjour Chien, d’ici et d’ailleurs). Created from the drawings of Chien Champion, the artistic name of Felipe Arriagada-Nunez, this public art project takes visitors on a journey through the city. Each sculpture, installation, and video projection explores a different way of inhabiting the city, bringing memories to life and asking what makes us feel at home. Chien observes, plays, learns, and creates memories along the way. At the heart of the project is a bag that accompanies the character — a symbol of migration and memory, carrying origins, journeys, and stories.
