2026 Internship Capstone Presentations Overview: 00:08 - 11:11 Paige Herbert, Legal & Policy Intern - Balancing Water Security & Environmental Protection: Rethinking Atmospheric River Capture 11:12 - 22:29 Andrew Allanson, Coastal Advocate Intern - Digital Tools to Meet Your Marin Marine Protected Areas 22:30 - 36:46 Anna Bassias, Legal & Policy Intern - Sea Level Rise Planning in Marin County An essential part of our advocacy and community engagement work is providing summer and fall high school, college, and graduate internship opportunities for young people to gain real-world job training in environmental policy, law, advocacy, community science, communications, events, and education, while also contributing to our mission. These mentoring opportunities help foster the next generation of environmental protection leaders with real-world experience that can be applied to future education and career goals. Each intern is responsible for a capstone project that forwards EAC’s mission. These internships are made possible through foundations, Cynthia Lloyd Scholars, and individual donors.
