BEFORE THE FAME: PartyNextDoor (Mini Documentary)

BEFORE THE FAME: PARTYNEXTDOOR Before he was the voice of OVO Sound, he was Jahron Brathwaite, a producer and engineer from Mississauga grinding in the Toronto underground. In 2013, he became the first artist signed to Drake's OVO Sound, and his self titled debut mixtape PARTYNEXTDOOR, followed by PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO and Colours, rewrote the rules of modern R&B. This episode traces Jahron B's journey: the early production years, the 40 co-sign, the OVO signing, and the rise of one of the most influential songwriters of his generation, the pen behind Rihanna's Work and some of the biggest records of the 2010s.
