Video 1 of 2. Sea kayak paddle from Dunbeath to Traigh Tuill at NGR ND 134 241 and back. Section in this video of outward paddle from Dunbeath to south side of Sturr Ruadh waterfall. Places in order are Dunbeath, Sithean Dubh natural arch ND 154 274 , the Clett sea stack at ND 14497 26377, Lochlainn natural arch ND 142 259, An Dun north cave tunnel ND 141 259, An Dun natural arches ND 141 257, Sturr Ruadh Waterfall at ND 138 253, the short promontory at ND 137 250 with southward view of the Screadan natural arch at ND 135 246. Stretch of coastline is Middle Devonian sedimentary rock strata, mainly red sandstone with lower glauconite green strata below the predominantly upper section of red coloured Middle Devonian sandstone layers. Glauconite lower base of strata is clearly visible at the Clett sea stack area at ND 14497 26377. Family of five grey herons south of Dunbeath.
