09 - A Vision for the Body of Christ - Part 1: A Platform for Connection

What if there were an easier way for the Body of Christ to connect—so Christians, churches, ministries, and organizations could find one another, share resources, meet real needs, and work together more effectively? In this episode, I share the calling God placed on my heart to help His people connect and introduce the first part of a larger vision: an online platform designed specifically for the Body of Christ. Many faithful Christians and ministries are doing meaningful work, but we often function like separate little kingdoms instead of one connected Body. The problem isn’t that the Church lacks people, gifts, resources, or a willingness to help. We often lack an effective way to discover one another, build relationships, recognize real needs, and work together. I share stories and real-world examples showing how a platform built specifically for the Body of Christ could connect its many parts with the partners, resources, and support they need to thrive and carry out the work God has given them to do. The platform could help Christians, churches, ministries, groups, organizations, and businesses connect through: An interactive map showing churches, ministries, needs, and opportunitiesProfiles revealing how people and organizations are serving and connectedGroups and networks built around shared interests, callings, locations, and causesEvents, initiatives, service projects, outreaches, missions, and conferencesMinistry spotlights and stories showing what God is doing around the worldThis isn’t meant to become another busy social-media feed or popularity contest. It is meant to help the Body of Christ see itself, support meaningful work, form partnerships, and become more connected, activated, and effective. Imagine what we could accomplish with a connected and activated Body of Christ. Is there anything we couldn’t do?
