You have quit before. Not once — several times. And you have never said it out loud in a church — there is no polite way to say it. You know the memory this is touching: the notebook, the plan somebody gave you, the Sunday you walked out saying this time it is going to be different. Day one was good. Day two was fine. Day three was harder and you shortened it. And day four you did not. There was no decision — you just did not get up, and by the following week you were not thinking about it at all. In this message we explore the teachings of Leonard Ravenhill on why that happened — and it is not what you have told yourself for twenty years.
You did not lose your faith on day four. You ran out of fuel. Feeling is a fuel, and it is a very small tank — never designed to carry you, only to start you. Look at how Luke introduces the parable of the persistent widow: he gives the point BEFORE the story, which he almost never does. "Men ought always to pray, and not to faint." Not "and not to rebel." Not "and not to fall into sin." Not to FAINT — not a sin word at all, but a strength word: to give out, to lose heart, to collapse in the middle of doing the right thing. Christ built an entire parable around that danger, which means He expected it. Your quitting was anticipated by the Son of God long before you ever did it.
⚔️ THEY ARE NOT MORE SPIRITUAL THAN YOU. THEY HAVE A PLAN.
Here is what this message lands on: the people who never seem to stop are not stronger than you. They have a structure — something outside their feelings that tells them what to do next on the morning nothing has happened. That is what The War Room Manual is. Thirty days of spiritual strategy, one page a night, five minutes, and every day ends with one concrete thing you go and do before you sleep. It was not built for disciplined people — they do not need it. It was built around the day you quit. It has already helped a great many believers who had quietly stopped because nobody showed them how to keep going, and it will help you.
And let us be clear: the Bible is the Word of God. Nothing replaces it, and no book written by a man will ever be what that Book is. This manual is not scripture and does not pretend to be. It is a practical help for the walk — written to get you into that Book with a plan instead of a mood.

"Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." — Galatians 6:9
📖 Base texts:
Luke 18:1 — "And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint."
1 Kings 18:43 — "And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times."
📖 In this sermon:
Why day four is the day almost everybody stops — a fuel gauge, not a verdict
"Not to faint" — the word in Luke 18:1 that is not a sin word at all
Elijah on Carmel: six reports of "there is nothing," and why the sixth trip feels exactly like the seventh
The cloud "like a man's hand" — the smallest sign in the Bible, and what he knew that the servant did not
Daniel's four words: "as he did aforetime"
The three sentences you are told on the fourth morning — the third gets nearly everybody
Gethsemane: "being in an agony he prayed MORE earnestly" — and why strength came after
The disciples could not watch one hour — and the tone Christ used on them
The one missed day, and the courtroom that actually ends it
🕊️ AND SOMETHING ALMOST NOBODY SAYS:
If you have started and stopped so many times that you are ashamed to try again, hear this: Proverbs says a just man falls SEVEN times and rises again — the falling is inside the definition. The only thing separating him from the other man in that verse is one clause: "and riseth up again."
God has never once been tired of somebody starting over. Read Luke 15 and watch how a father behaves when a son comes home after the worst thing a son could do. The Book says the father RAN — while the boy was still far off, which means he had been watching that road.

💬 In the comments: the last time you tried to pray every day — HOW MANY DAYS did you last? Just the number. Nothing else. Almost every number down there is small, and that is the whole point of this message.
