Loving God Is More Than Words.. Here’s What He Really Requires

How do we practically show our love to God? Having received God's love, our response should be more than words—it should be joyful obedience. We demonstrate our love for God by submitting to His Word, His authority and His commands, allowing His will to shape the way we live. In this final episode of Practicality of Christianity — Season 3, we explore three practical ways we can show our love for God through obedience: 1. Follow His Word If we love God, we should desire to follow His instructions. Loving God means allowing His Word to guide our choices, attitudes and way of life. 2. Do the Work of Ministry God has given each of us a place and a purpose within the body of Christ. Instead of sitting back and complaining, we are called to serve Him with the gifts and abilities He has given us. 1 Corinthians 12:12–27 3. Be the Light and the Salt Jesus calls us to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. As His followers, we are ambassadors of His Kingdom, called to shine His light in a world filled with darkness and reflect the goodness of Christ wherever we go. Matthew 5:13–16 As we close Season 3, the question is not simply, “Do you love God?” The deeper question is: “Can your love for God be seen in the way you live?” Having received God's love, may our response be a life of joyful obedience, faithful service and Kingdom influence.
