1970s Elektro-Mobiltechnik Coin Operated Hippo Kiddie Ride

Filmed at Handersons, Waltham Cross on November 16th 2022. This hippo was manufactured by Elektro-Mobiltechnik. The earliest record I've found of this ride is on their stand at the IMA Exhibition in September 1971, although I believe the one in this video is a far more recent one. Having been part of our sister channel Skylark24 since 2010, The History of Coin Operated Rides finally has its own YouTube channel! Subscribe for ride videos, documentaries, interviews and more! Look out for a new video at 6pm GMT every single day! If you have any old photographs or video footage of coin operated rides which you wouldn't mind sharing with us, please email coinoperatedrides@hotmail.com Thank you! Connect with us on social media!
