== L O R E == The Great Asian War ended in catastrophe for the Pacific Defense Treaty Organization. Following Singapore's surrender, the East Asian Defense Initiative dissolved the old republic and placed the island under direct military supervision. For several years, soldiers maintained order while the nation's future remained uncertain. Rather than annex Singapore outright, Beijing pursued a different vision. Seeing the island's strategic location, advanced infrastructure, and highly educated workforce, several of China's largest private corporations transformed Singapore into an experimental corporate state. Military administrators gradually stepped aside, handing authority to the newly established Board of Directors, where five competing megacorporations governed the nation in the name of prosperity and efficiency. Today, the State of Singapore stands as the industrial and technological workshop of the EADI. Every factory, laboratory, and port exists for a single purpose: to design, manufacture, and export products that strengthen China's civilian economy and military power. Yet beneath the gleaming skyline lies constant competition. Corporations battle for influence, new technologies must prove themselves on distant battlefields, investors demand ever-higher profits, and the delicate balance between Singapore's Chinese, Malay, and Indian communities must never be allowed to collapse. In this new era, elections no longer decide the nation's future. Innovation does. == A B O U T T H E P A C I F I C D A W N == The Pacific Dawn is a fictional series I made from the HOI4 The Fire Rises (TFR) mod. This series takes place in 2035 after the East Asian Defense Initiative (EADI) victory in the Great Asian War. Here, each Pacific and Asian states have their own unique path to choose from.
