Gobi Totem [Mongolian + Native American Dubstep] #dubstep #bassdrop #bass

I've always deeply respected the beauty and complexity found in Native American / First Nations and Mongolian cultures. The very land I live in belongs to the Canarsee People who are part of the Lenape indigenous nation. There is a spiritual weight and rhythmic power in both traditions that hits me right in the chest, and Gobi Totem is my ode to that energy. For this track, I wanted to pull musical elements from both worlds and see where they would meet including the tambor, the Mongolian morin khuur, and Native chanting. Turn the bass up, listen on good speakers or headphones, and let Gobi Totem do its thing.
