ExitSaaS Manifesto

How much of your business do you actually own? Your software. Your customer data. Your systems. Your automations. The technology your business depends on every day. For years, small businesses have been pushed toward a model where nearly everything comes with another monthly subscription. We believe there's a better way. ExitSaaS helps small businesses simplify operations, automate repetitive work, and build business systems designed around greater ownership and less dependency. Our philosophy is simple: Own More. Depend Less. That can mean business automation, custom software, AI, self-hosted systems, open-source technology, locally owned hardware, and other practical solutions that give business owners greater control over the technology that runs their company. We're not against SaaS. Sometimes a subscription is absolutely the right tool. We're against unnecessary dependency. Technology should make your business easier to run—not give you another collection of bills, logins, limitations, and systems you can never truly control. This video explains what ExitSaaS stands for and why we believe the next generation of small-business technology should be built around simplicity, practicality, and ownership. Business shouldn't feel this hard. Less Busywork. More Business. Own More. Depend Less.
