This is Lesson 4 of my Siemens S7-1200 PLC course, where we build our first real motor control project step by step from scratch. To get the most out of this course, I recommend following the lessons in order. We first build the PLC wiring, then learn how I/O addressing works, and configure the S7-1200 hardware in TIA Portal. After completing those three lessons, we are ready to start programming the PLC and build our first real Start/Stop motor control. In this lesson, you will learn how to use Bit Logic instructions in TIA Portal and apply them to a real S7-1200 PLC. We’ll start with the fundamentals of Ladder Logic and learn how Normally Open (NO) contacts, Normally Closed (NC) contacts, Output Coils, Set/Reset instructions, and Flip-Flop instructions work. Then, we’ll build, download, and test a real Start/Stop motor control system on actual hardware. In this lesson, you will learn: ✔️ Normally Open (NO) contacts ✔️ Normally Closed (NC) contacts ✔️ Series and parallel logic ✔️ AND and OR logic ✔️ Output Coil / Assignment ✔️ Self-holding (seal-in) circuits ✔️ Set (S) and Reset (R) instructions ✔️ RS and SR flip-flop instructions ✔️ TIA Portal Ladder Logic programming ✔️ Downloading the program to a real S7-1200 PLC ✔️ Testing the motor control on real hardware #plc #plc_programming #plctutorial #siemensplc
