For the best audio quality, capturing the warmth of the harp, listen with headphones! ***** This love song from the 1994 film "The Swan Princess," which is based fairytales of Russian-Swedish-Germanic origin, charmed me since I first heard it in my childhood!!!! In the film, Princess Odette has just been captured by the evil sorcerer Rothbart in an underhanded plot to steal the kingdom. Odette has just been told that she must choose to willingly marry Rothbart or be cursed to turn into a swan every night at sunset. Odette things longingly of her childhood-best-friend-turned-suitor, Derek, and the two sing this long-distance-song vowing to find their way back to each other. The arrangement I played is for piano by Emelie F, and can found here: https://musescore.com/user/37561853/s... I was THIS CLOSE to buying a dress to cosplay as Odette, but I decided to wear this silvery gown instead. :-) See below for lyrics! *** If I could break the spell I'd run to him today! And somehow I know he's on his way Derek, you and were meant to be Far longer than forever I'll hold you in my heart Its almost like your here with me All do we're far apart Far longer than forever As constant as a star I close my eyes and I am where you are Sure as the dawn brings the sunrise We have unshakeable bonds Destined to last for a lifetime and beyond Far longer than forever Like no love ever known And with your love I'll never be alone Ohhh Far longer than forever Like no love ever known And with your love I'll never be alone Far longer than forever Much stronger than forever Without your love I'll never be alone Never, never be alone Never ever be alone Far longer than forever
