"You Can't Be Serious"—The Council Laughed… Until Earth's Ships Went Dark | Best HFY Stories

A passenger ship is running out of air. A rescue tug is ready to help-but the harbor’s central system says no. When Captain Nesrin trusts the empty cargo hold over the official manifest, one rescue becomes a challenge to a system that can immobilize entire fleets. And as a quiet investigation reveals what else that system is hiding, the clock is already ticking. Watch to the end to see what happens when the ships stop waiting for permission.
