Providence & Worcester CT 1 on the Valley Line - 3/23/2022

Much like the local freights of the New Haven Railroad, the Providence and Worcester Railroad serves several customers along the Air Line and Valley Line. Air Line & Middletown Customers serviced include Palumbo Trucking (Wallingford), Tilcon at Reeds Gap, the Perma Treatment corporation, Palumbo Trucking (Middletown), O&G Mason Supply, Klockner Metals, and RED Technologies. Valley Line customers serviced include 7D Wholesale Lumber in the Dividend section of Rocky Hill. Today, P&W's CT-1 crew reported to Middletown and ran light engine up to Hartford, where they awaited CSO crews to interchange cars from Hartford Yard. After heading south on the Valley Line (or Wethersfield Secondary), CT-1 serviced Klockner Metals and Palumbo Trucking, then dropped its cars off at Reeds Gap for the next crew to take back to Cedar Hill.
