They can be created in various shapes, sizes, and colors, and can be combined to form larger designs. Abbreviations: R : Ring “ : Double stitch (i.e., 1” one double stitch etc.,) P : Picot J : Join (to adjacent picot or previous ring picot) Cl : Close the ring RW : Reverse Ch : Chain Tatting is a delicate and time-consuming craft that requires patience and skill, but it can be a rewarding and satisfying hobby for those who enjoy working with their hands and creating intricate designs.
