Furious  EMX Ultimate E-Bike (brake issue)

This is a potentially serious issue. Please pay attention to this. The rear brake on my wife’s new e-bike wasn’t working properly. The rear brake was almost ineffective. After checking out everything else, bleeding cleaning ect… I discovered the caliper was sitting 5+mm too high in relation with the rotor. The brake mount bracket welded onto the frame locates the caliper assembly too high. Removing 5mm thickness from the (Tektro) aluminum adapter bracket solved the issue.
